I joined D Young & Co’s patent team as a technical assistant in October 2020. I have a strong technical background in physics and enjoy applying this in my role.
Before joining D Young & Co, I completed a Bachelor’s degree in physics at the University of Bristol. My work largely involved researching thermodynamic processes and investigating how to induce the phase changes in quick succession. I received a commendation for my final year industrial project, which involved working with a local artist to develop an art installation showcasing the phase changes of water.
Since joining the firm, I have gained experience in the prosecution of UK and European patent applications, covering a wide range of electrical and mechanical technologies.
