Tilly Kettel

I joined the trade mark team at D Young & Co in April 2026, having completed an LLB degree in Law with Criminology at the University of Manchester. What interests me about intellectual property is how it is embedded into almost every aspect of commercial and consumer life. I particularly enjoy seeing our clients’ trade marks in use and witnessing first-hand the role that IP plays in building and protecting the identity and value of a business.

I support partners, associates and attorneys across the trade mark team on a diverse range of contentious and non-contentious IP matters in the UK and internationally. This varied role includes preparing witness statements and submissions, legal research, large-scale evidence collection and supporting the client advisory process.

I support an array of clients spanning the pharmaceuticals, technology, media, entertainment, fashion and retail, cosmetics, food and beverages, and hospitality sectors.
