Lisa Bieber

The combination of creativity, legal complexity and the international scope of intellectual property law has captivated me since my legal studies. I enjoy working closely with clients to understand the ideas and values behind their brands and to develop practical strategies to protect their IP rights; whether through litigation, enforcement or proactive legal advice.

I advise national and international clients on all aspects of trade mark, unfair competition, and design law, with a particular focus on contentious matters, litigation, and strategic guidance for the effective protection and enforcement of intellectual property rights. My expertise also includes domain law and the law of geographical indications.

Before joining D Young & Co in 2025, I worked at a renowned national IP boutique, where I provided comprehensive advice across the full spectrum of intellectual property law. My work centred on defending well-known trade marks against product piracy and counterfeiting, both in infringement proceedings and through border seizure measures.

I represent clients before all German civil courts, as well as the German Patent and Trade Mark Office, the German Federal Patent Court, the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), and the General Court in Luxembourg.

My mother tongue is German and I am fluent in English.
