Alexandra Lindley

I joined D Young & Co in 2024 after graduating from London College of Fashion, UAL. Whilst working with the firm I became increasingly interested in trade mark law and joined the trade mark team in April 2026. I find the growing importance of intellectual property in modern consumerism particularly compelling as brands have become some of the most valuable business assets, playing a central role in consumer trust, innovation, and competitive advantage. My background has given me a particular interest in the luxury fashion and retail sector, but I also enjoy the variety of clients and breadth of work involved in my day-to-day role.
I play a supporting role in the trade mark team, assisting trade mark partners, associates and attorneys with a range of client work. This often consists of drafting hearing notes, witness statements and submissions, conducting legal research, compiling evidence, and assisting with the advisory process, in both contentious and non-contentious matters.
