Abigail Macklin
I joined D Young & Co in 2019, after completing a Graduate Diploma in Law and working in litigation and recoveries. I have a background in advertising so I enjoy supporting creative brand development and am particularly interested in the commercial implications of intellectual property issues.
In the trade mark team, I support partners and attorneys with all stages of contentious and non-contentious IP matters in the UK, EU and internationally. I assist with a diverse range of clients across sectors including pharmaceuticals, technology, fashion and retail, energy, food and beverages, hospitality, media and entertainment.
In 2021 I was awarded the Chartered Institute of Trade Mark Attorneys (CITMA) award for the highest mark achieved by a student member for the Trade Mark Law and Practice Postgraduate Certificate at Queen Mary University of London.
