Connor McConchie

Practice & Professional Experience
Connor’s main area of practice concerns dealing with drafting and prosecution in the chemical field. In particular, he has experience working in the fields of polymers, small molecules, drug delivery, and inorganic binders. Additionally, a significant proportion of Connor’s work is directed to portfolio management of food technology and medical device applications.
Prior to joining D Young and Co in 2006, Connor spent time in industry with Interbrew UK, assisting in the maintenance and development of large scale in-place-cleaning systems, as well as in the control of microbiological contaminants through the use of micro-filtration systems.
Qualifications
BSc (Hons) Chemistry with Industrial Experience, University of Cardiff. Awarded Lions Laboratories Prize for Chemistry.
MSc in Intellectual Property, Queen Mary College, University of London. Awarded JA Kemp scholarship.
Awarded GlaxoSmithKline prize for patents.
European Patent Attorney 2009.
