Since opening on 01 June 2016, the German office has enabled D Young & Co to work even more closely with clients on matters before the European Patent Office, while also complementing the firm’s wider European practice. In June 2025, the Munich team moved to new offices at Karlstraße 12 in central Munich, reflecting the continued development of the practice and its long-term commitment to the region.

Located close to the European Patent Office and the German Patent and Trade Mark Office, the Munich office has become an important base for advising a diverse international client base across sectors and technologies. Over the past ten years, the team has worked seamlessly with colleagues in London and Southampton to deliver coordinated advice at a local, European and global level.
