Innovate UK Growth Catalyst: £10 million in grant funds available for UK based entities
In what can only be seen as a welcome initiative, Innovate UK is offering small and micro businesses based in the UK a share of up to £10 million in grants, for entities having ideas relating to artificial intelligence (AI); semiconductors; advanced connectivity technologies; quantum technologies; or engineering biology.
For those qualifying entities, which must be a UK registered micro or small business, grants may be provided in the region of between £25,000 and £50,000.
The window for opportunity for applying for the scheme is limited, noting the scheme was only opened for applications in July 2025, and the closing time for applications is 11am on 06 August 2025.
The scheme is primarily directed at projects with a near term start and completion, such that all eligible projects, which must be based in the UK, must have a start date no later than 01 November 2025, and must be finished by 30 April 2026.
So for those keen to apply, now represents a fantastic time to do so!
