In view of the spread of the new coronavirus disease, Covid-19, in the UK and Germany, we have implemented a number of measures to ensure that our staff are safe and well and that we maintain our high levels of client service.

Uninterrupted service

Our offices are currently open, although we have asked most of our staff to work from home. We are not expecting any interruption to our service levels as we have implemented a number of proactive measures across our business that will minimise the risk of any disruption. These measures include a combination of remote working and the implementation of operational policies and protocols designed to allow us to run our business as usual.

Whilst we are still able to deal with hard copy post, as our offices currently remain open, we would be grateful if all instructions could now be sent via email. Please send these to your usual contact at D Young & Co also copying

Additionally, any invoices or accounts related queries should be sent by email to At this time we’d rather receive any payment due by electronic transfer than cheque. You can request our bank details using the same email address.

Coronavirus: IP offices in Europe – changed practice

As a response to the new coronavirus disease (Covid-19) outbreak, intellectual property offices in Europe have implemented special measures to offer some level of flexibility to rights holders whilst Europe is working under new and uncertain conditions. Whilst this flexibility is welcomed we are not intending to make use of these provisions but will continue to work to the original deadlines.
