I joined the D Young & Co patent team in 2019 after completing my master’s degree in physics at the University of Sheffield.

Since joining the firm, I have gained experience in the drafting and prosecution of UK and European patent applications. My work has involved an interesting variety of developing technologies, including medical devices, telecommunications, image processing and electronics.

My academic background covers a broad range of areas, from particle physics to semiconductor devices. During my degree I completed a research project involving the testing of components for integrated optical circuits within the field of quantum photonics.
