Many years in-house trade mark experience with Shell Oil Company with responsibility globally for protecting their petrochemical trade marks.

Experience in-house in a multi-national tobacco company.

Experience in private practice in protecting trade marks used in retailing, pharmaceuticals field, electronics, telecommunications, agro and industrial chemicals and the service industries.

Societies and Council Membership

Elected President of the Institute of Trade Mark Attorneys 2008.

Serving on General Purposes and Finance Committee, Designs Committee, Formalities Committee and CPD Committee as well as on the JEB.

Member of Pharmaceuticals Trade Marks Group.

Member of the Registry Practice Working Group - Designs, liasing with the UK Designs Registry since 2004.
