Gill joined D Young & Co in 1997 having spent 20 years in industry working for such companies as Shell and British American Tobacco.
Gill became a partner in 2004 and has a broad client base including charities, cosmetics, automobile, beverage and manufacturing industries. She has travelled extensively on behalf of the profession including trips to the USA, Far East and Europe, and has lectured to associates in the USA, China and Japan on various trade mark and design subjects.
Gill’s work ranges over the full gambit of trade mark protection including clearance searching, filing and prosecution plus contentious matters such as oppositions, invalidations, revocations and advising on infringement issues.
