We believe that everyone has a duty of care for the environment and should seek ways to conserve natural resources. We are conscious of environmental issues and we believe that the pursuit of economic growth can be linked to ecological protection.

In pursuit of our business goals, we will seek to minimise the wastage of raw materials and energy, and implement measures to minimise harmful emissions and pollution resulting from our activities.

We will comply with all relevant legislation concerning the environment and will actively co-operate with this on environmental protection matters. We will conduct internal reviews and undertake regular audits of our performance. Where reasonably practicable we will seek to improvement our performance.

We will inform our support suppliers and contractors of our environmental policies and where reasonably practical we will encourage them to ensure that the goods and services they provide meet our environmental objectives.

Our clients will be made aware of our initiatives and where appropriate, we will seek their assistance to help us to achieve our environmental goals.

Our staff (internal partners and employees) will be provided with information, instruction and training as necessary to fulfil the requirements of this policy.

D Young & Co LLP in conjunction with the facilities management team will develop action plans to implement our environmental policy. Each year, the facilities management team will report on progress to the Environment Committee against objectives and targets.

The D Young & Co environmental policy will be monitored to ensure it is effective and will be regularly reviewed and revised as necessary.
