Dan specialises in mobile telecommunications, microelectronics, digital signal processing, semiconductor design and fabrication, computing (hardware and software) and control systems.
Dan is experienced in UK and European drafting and prosecution work, patent searching and foreign prosecution, including the US, Japan and China.
Dan joined D Young & Co in 2005; prior to that he gained industrial experience as an engineer at Vodafone UK including work on developing “4G” next generation mobile telecommunications protocol.
Qualifications
MEng in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, University of Newcastle Upon Tyne.
Certificate in Intellectual Property, Queen Mary College, University of London.
