Charlotte's main areas of expertise lie in the mechanical and manufacturing engineering sectors. Her work includes drafting and prosecution of UK, European and foreign patent applications in the fields of aerospace and automotive engineering, electrical devices, fast moving consumer goods, and medical devices.
At the European Patent Office, Charlotte has experience representing clients at oral proceedings before the Examining Division and also before the Boards of Appeal.
Charlotte also has experience in opposition proceedings before the EPO (both as opponent and patentee) and advising on infringement and freedom to operate.
As a European Design Attorney and a member of the firm's design team, Charlotte has experience obtaining registered designs in Europe and a variety of different foreign jurisdictions.
