Practice & Professional Experience

Cam joined the D Young & Co Dispute Resolution & Legal Group in 2011.

His private practice experience includes advice on the infringement and enforcement of copyright, trade marks, design rights, domain names and database rights, and involvement in the conduct of litigation in relation to both IP and general commercial matters.

Cam trained at a leading international firm for two years, where he acquired experience in IP litigation, EU and competition law, and corporate and finance transactions.

Prior to qualifying as a solicitor, Cam worked in-house for a leading copyright and collecting society in the visual arts sector, where he gathered considerable experience in copyright licensing and enforcement. He managed key accounts, including leading UK publishers, museums and art galleries, and estates of famous artists. He was also involved in policy work, in particular the drafting of responses to consultations in relation to national or European legislative developments, and the management of international relations.

Cam has a truly international outlook, being a native Italian speaker and having completed part of his studies in Italy, and worked in both Germany and Belgium.
