Aylsa is a European patent attorney and ADR Group accredited mediator. Her portfolio covers the technical areas of biotechnology and biochemistry, including molecular biology, food technology, enzymology, plant biotechnology, antibody technology, diagnostics and therapeutics, stem cell technology and pharmaceuticals.

Aylsa has considerable experience before the EPO Opposition Divisions and Appeal Boards. As well as drafting specifications and advising on validity and infringement matters she handles worldwide prosecution portfolios providing strategic advice for a range of clients. Aylsa is involved in Plant Bioscience’s landmark cases G2/07 and G2/13 before the Enlarged Board of Appeal.

Aylsa is also an ADR Group Accredited Mediator in Civil and Commercial Mediation. She became a partner at D Young & Co in 2004.
