Practice & Professional Experience

Anthony’s main areas of expertise are in the physics and electronics fields (including software and hardware implemented inventions) as well as quantum computing, nano-fabrication, consumer electronic devices, and signal processing and measurement. Anthony has experience of UK and European drafting and prosecution work for multinational corporations as well as SMEs. Anthony also has experience of foreign prosecution work including US and Japan.

Anthony joined D Young & Co in 2005 having completed a PhD in experimental low temperature quantum physics. He became an associate at D Young & Co in 2009.

Qualifications

MSc Physics (Hons), University of Bristol.
PhD Low Temperature Mesoscopic Physics (University of Bristol 2005) 2001-2004 University of Bristol, 2005 - Royal Holloway University of London, “A Controllable PI-Junction in a Low Temperature Superconducting Mesoscopic System”.
Certificate in Intellectual Property Law, Queen Mary College, University of London.
European Patent Attorney 2009.
Chartered Patent Attorney 2008.
